Class Assistant / OSHC Educator

Before joining CMS in 2018, I worked as a relief teacher for Education Queensland.

I chose to work with CMS because I’ve been interested in the Montessori philosophy since learning about it at university. The emphasis on student autonomy and self-directed learning is the main reason I was drawn to Montessori education.

My role is to assist the teacher and students in the Sea Lions class, and help keep the classroom environment running smoothly. The thing I most enjoy about my work is the spontaneous discussions that I have with students. It amazes me how much wisdom little people have!

My interests include nutrition, psychology, calligraphy and being in nature as much as possible.
