Just a quick message of thanks to Yvonne and the wonderful hosts of todays open day event. Hearing about your beautiful school from the child’s perspective was so special.

Being a Montessori teacher and child advocate, I came to your school today to revive my passion for the philosophy, and to remind myself of the reason we spend every waking hour committed to our children.  I was blown away by the confidence of my host and the way she was able to explain the practices of Montessori in her own way. The grounds and classrooms are a haven for children to develop naturally at their own pace within their own interests.  I am currently teaching in a Montessori “long daycare” where I find myself questioning my own practices, within such restraints of the childcare industry. I hope to some day broaden my own horizons to a wonderful school like CMS where Montessori education is celebrated with no restraints.

Again, many thanks for opening up your school to me, my day has been fulfilled knowing that children are getting a chance to experience the true value of Montessori education at CMS.
