Welcome to our New Principal

On behalf of the Moreton Bay Montessori Association, the Caboolture Montessori School Board, we would like to extend a warm welcome to Ms Chiray Fitton, as the new Principal, commencing in 2024.

After a national recruiting activity, a number of applications and interviews, the Board selected Chiray to join the CMS community. We are thrilled to have her in the role and look forward to working with her.

Valuable Montessori Experience

Chiray has 17 years’ experience as the Principal of the Montessori International College at Buderim where she was instrumental in the expansion of the school, the growth of student numbers and the establishment of a Montessori Adolescent Program. Chiray has extensive leadership and Montessori training and will be a valuable addition to the existing impressive range of staff at CMS.

Thank you to our previous Principal

At this time, the Board would like to acknowledge and thank Yvonne Rinaldi for 15 years of leadership at CMS. Over this time, she has led the transformation of the school through the addition of over 150 students, the introduction of various new facilities, the establishment of the Outside School Hours Care program and more recently the growth of the Toddler Program. Over the last few years, Yvonne has also been the driving force in the research for the commencement of the Adolescent Program.

On behalf of the whole Board and the school community, we say goodbye to Yvonne and good luck for her future adventures.

We look forward to her visits back to the school from time to time, and with Chiray onboard, we are excited for the future of our school.
