Before joining CMS in 2008, I worked for the University of Queensland as an Associate Lecturer teaching pre-service teachers, until my dream job arrived at Caboolture Montessori!  I couldn’t believe my fortuity and privilege of obtaining work with a philosophy I whole-heartedly believed in, practised already and which had been part of my family for years.

My role at CMS is as the Class Director for the Amphibian’s class, Cycle Three (9-12), and I really love this age group.

The things I enjoy most are: developing children’s confidence, voice, logic, critical thought, Maths and English.  In my spare time, I make materials for my classroom, spend time with my family and walk my dogs.  I am blessed to be an integral part of the CMS community.

Qualifications: International Montessori Teaching Diploma (Upper Elementary), Bachelor of Education (Middle Years) / Bachelor of Science (Psychology)
